This is a private show and is not open to the public. This event is open to all NDSU students and alumni, as well as students from area universities and colleges. 

Student Info

This event is open to all current students and alumni, as well as students from universities/colleges in the area. There is no need to register for this fair, just stop by the Fargodome ready to meet over 250 potential employers!  Free headshots will be available at this event for all student attendees from 11am-2pm.

What to bring: Student ID and copies of your resume.

Employer Info

Employer registration will open in Handshake on July 1st. 

The Career Expo provides an excellent opportunity for employers to connect with students to discuss current and/or future career-related employment or internships opportunities. This event is only for bona fide employers looking to fill internships and full-time positions that require or prefer at least a four-year degree. Third Party Recruiters and the general public may not attend.

Registration fee: $500

Registration includes: 10’x10′ booth, 8′ table, 2 chairs, electricity, Wi-Fi, free parking, and lunch for 2 representatives.

Payment: Once your registration is approved by our office, you will be sent an email from Handshake with your invoice and payment information. Payment is due by September 11, 2024.  Your registration is not considered complete until payment is processed. We reserve the right to cancel the registration for any employer who has not paid by the due date. We also reserve the right to decline a registration due to repeated delinquent payments.  If you do not receive the invoice email, please check your spam and junk folders before contacting Libby Hardwick-Nelson at libby.hardwicknelson@ndsu.edu or 701-231-7172 to resend the email. If you prefer to mail a check, please contact our office to ensure you have the correct mailing address. Should you need to cancel your registration after paying, please review our cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation received on or before the payment deadline will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellation received after the payment deadline and up to one week prior to the fair, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation received 6 days or less prior to the event or day-of event no-shows, are non-refundable (see specific dates below). There will be no refunds due to weather-related cancellations (by the employer or NDSU). Registration is non-transferrable. We promote our Career Fairs to the best of our ability, utilizing social media, print media, emails, information sessions, and more. We do not guarantee any level of student attendance and participation, and we do not issue refunds based on student attendance or lack thereof.

  • Cancellation on or prior to September 11, 2024: Full refund, less a $50 administrative fee
  • Cancellation September 12 – September 18, 2024: 50% refund
  • Cancellation on or after September 19, 2024: No refund

Shipping: Please note that any items shipped directly to the NDSU Career and Advising Center or the Fargodome will be REFUSED. Please ship items through our partners at UPS. Contact Jeff at The UPS Store at 701-235-9505 (option 9) to arrange payment and receive the shipping address. The Career and Advising Center will coordinate the delivery of items to the Fargodome from The UPS Store in time for the event. If you prefer to ship with a different vendor, you will need to make your own arrangements.

On-Campus Interviews: On-Campus Interviews (OCIs) are a great opportunity to connect right away with potential candidates you met at the fair. OCIs will take place at NDSU Memorial Union from 8am-4pm on Thursday, September 26th. If you would like to reserve a table for OCIs, please fill out the survey included in registration.
